Pele and Kamapua’a

the Hawaiian Goddess of fire , and lava , is my inspiration from living on the Big Island for the last 20 years , and my connection to this sacred land . If any of you have ever been here , you know that feeling of the force of mana that shifts your every aspect of your being . Thats Pele , cleaning house . The energy here really helps one to look at themselves in all humbleness , and transform into all you can be. With all respects to mama Pele , I offer this image of her in her young beautiful state , and her elder woman self , along with her lover , Kama Pua’a , who is sometimes sen as an 8 eyed pig . Whenever I see Pele appear to me , she has fire elementals with her as well , as depicted here as her lava dragon
